Julia Kranz
Online Marketing Manager at Seobility and Project Lead
With a user-focused mind and a keen eye for detail, Julia has been part of the Wiki project since its very beginning. While she started out by writing the first few articles herself, she quickly took on the role of project manager and worked with a number of content freelancers to build this wiki into what it is today. Her responsibilities ranged from content planning, creation, review and promotion to general project management.
Through her studies in Business Studies (B.A.) and Marketing (M.Sc.) she gained extensive knowledge about business and marketing that perfectly prepared her for this project. Through her work at Seobility, she complemented this theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience in various marketing areas such as content marketing, SEO, performance marketing, email marketing, and more.
While she enjoyed gaining experience in different marketing areas, she quickly discovered that her true passion lies in content marketing. Today, she leads several content projects at Seobility, including this Wiki and the Seobility Blog, and has 5+ years of marketing experience. Providing truly valuable content that helps SEOs and website owners in their daily work is her main motivation and the goal she strives to achieve with each article you read on the Seobility website.
Thomas Gareis
Founder and former CEO of Seobility
Thomas, the innovative mind behind Seobility, was the one who initiated the Wiki project as he wanted to create a knowledge hub for Seobility users and SEOs in general where they could find high-quality information about all important terms related to SEO. In the initial stages of this project, Thomas was not only the main strategist but also an active participant, reviewing the first articles written by Julia to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness.
Thomas holds a degree in Business Informatics and has extensive experience in SEO, marketing, entrepreneurship and web development. In particular, his own website projects, such as “Webwiki”, which he grew to a monthly organic traffic of 300,000+ visitors, demonstrate his skills in driving online visibility.
In 2014, Thomas founded Seobility and grew it from a simple SEO checker tool to an internationally successful SEO software for small businesses with more than 500,000 users and several awards from review platforms such as G2. By applying smart SEO strategies to the Seobility website itself, he managed to grow it to a monthly organic traffic of 350,000+.
Matthias Lugert
CEO at Seobility (former CMO)
With his strategic mindset, Matthias has been a key figure in the evolution of the Seobility Wiki. During his tenure as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), he was a close advisor to Julia, ensuring the Wiki not only maintained its overall quality but also achieved its strategic objectives.
With degrees in Business Administration (B.A.) and Business Education (M.Sc.), Matthias has a strong academic background. Before joining Seobility, he gained valuable experience in online marketing in various positions.
Matthias's journey at Seobility started as a Partnerships and Business Development Manager. He quickly ascended through the ranks, becoming CMO and Managing Director, where he played a crucial role in shaping the marketing strategies of Seobility. In 2023, he took over the role of CEO from Thomas and continues to lead Seobility to new heights and achievements.
Melodía García Tejedor
Senior Marketing Manager (ES and Latam) at Seobility
Melodía has been instrumental in bringing our high-quality content to our Spanish-speaking audience. As the responsible lead for the Spanish version of our wiki, she has overseen the entire content creation process, ensuring that the articles are not only linguistically accurate but also relevant and valuable to our Spanish-speaking users.
Prior to joining Seobility, Melodía honed her skills in the digital space, working as an Online Content Manager and Website Project Manager. These roles allowed her to dive deep into the realms of online marketing and SEO, gaining extensive experience that she has since brought into her work at Seobility.
In her current role as Senior Marketing Manager for ES and Latam at Seobility, Melodía wears multiple hats. While she continues to enhance our presence in Spanish-speaking countries, she also plays a key role in various general marketing projects, contributing to the overall growth and visibility of Seobility.
Bram Vergouwen
